Google Duo introduced the Rewards program for users for the first time in the Philippines in September. Now the company started this cash rewards in India too. According to the support page, there is a chance to win upto Rs.9000 Cash Reward on the first call through Google Duo in India. This rewards will go straight to Google Pay. Google also says that on inviting a friend to signup on Duo, when a new user downloads the app through the shared invitation link and calls the first call then both users will get a cash reward.
To win Cash Rewards on Google Duo in India, the user must have a phone number and bank account. This offer works only on linking bank accounts to UPi-based Google Pay App. New users need to call Google for the first time for Cash Rewards. The user who has referred the link must share the link to a person who has never signed up on Google Duo. To send a unique invite link to the new user, click Invite friends> Share invite link in the Duo app. Once the link is received, after registering it through the app, users who referred will receive an about the rewards. Cash can also be redeemed in the Duo app. Tap on More and click on Redeem rewards. After this, the cash will be transferred directly to your linked bank account.
To get the rewards, make sure your friend has installed the app via unique link. Keep in mind that Duo is not used before on the phone number. In addition, the latest version of Google Duo is also important. With this, you have to wait for 2-4 hours after redeeming the rewards. Cash Rewards is available only for Android users. Rewards is available only for Duo supported devices. However, version information is not yet available. Google said that some rewards can not be redeemed after the end of the Reward period.
