Airtel has launched two new prepaid plans to extend the validity period of the connection. Cost of these validity plans are Rs.100 and Rs.500. Both these plans offer outgoing validity of 28 days but the incoming validity is valid for lifetime. Both new plans are now active and customers can recharge with these plans to extend their connection’s validity period, however, it is not known if they are available for Airtel subscribers across the country.
In the Indian telecommunications industry competition warming every passing day thanks to entry of Reliance Jio, operators are introducing newer prepaid plans to attract more subscribers. Airtel is also doing the same. After realizing the lose of customers by ending lifetime validity now Airtel has re-launched it’s lifetime validity plans.
The new Airtel Rs. 100 and Rs. 500 plans are listed in the MyAirtel app. If you are an Airtel subscriber, you can check out the new prepaid plans under the ‘Best Plans’ menu in the ‘Talktime’ section of the app. As for the benefits of the new Airtel prepaid plans, Rs. 100 pack offers Rs. 81.75 talktime balance with an outgoing effect of 28 days and lifetime validity of incoming calls.
As for the Rs. 500 pack, it offers same validity as Rs.100 plan with the talktime balance of Rs.420.73. There is no other benefit like Data and SMS beside talktime and validity.
Now it’s clear that company’s move to end the lifetime validity was wrong and Airtel has now realized that mistake and come up with an plan to tackle. Let’s hope it’s not too late for the company and these plans will help to keep the customers on it’s network.
